What files are allowed?

In alphabetical order, only files ending with the following are allowed:

.cgi

.css

.gif

.htm

.html

.jpeg

.jpg

.js

.pl

.png

.txt

.shtm

.shtml

The list of allowed file extensions is a matter of restrictions, not support. You can't add your own file extensions by using a .htaccess file.

If you have other files you want your visitors to download, you'll have to upgrade your account to at least the Starter package. File archives are no longer allowed as of December 9, 2005.
