Why am I getting an error message about an invalid username when logging in?

For security reasons, you'll get an error about the username being incorrect or invalid if either the username or the password is incorrect when attempting to log in to your account, either by FreeAdmin or by FTP.

Please double-check the initial e-mail message containing both the username and the password, and it might be a good idea to retrace your steps; have you changed the password for your account recently?
