What scripting languages are available?
Server side scripting languages (such as Perl/CGI and PHP) are no longer offered on free.prohosting.com accounts. Client side scripting languages (such as JavaScript) are still available, as this is handled by the visitor's browser.
Access to Perl scripting was removed for new accounts after May 15, 2005. If you signed up before this date, you may still have access to Perl scripting if the account hasn't been upgraded, but it will no longer be available if and when you upgrade your account.
PHP was once available, but due to abuse from malicious users, we have now disabled access to this scripting language.
Server side scripting languages for new accounts are only available on the paid hosting accounts from
ProHosting (plan A or better - available from $17.95 per month).
